Description
As Sophine stood on the hill, gazing at the fields of waving wheat, a gentleman appeared and offered her a blue bouquet of gentians.
They were the flowers she once loved. But the flowers she now loved were different. So she did not accept the bouquet.
Then, telling the Earl, her ex-husband, never to come there again, she was about to enter the building.
Just then, a girl with vibrant red hair darted out and asked her mother to pick her up.
The Earl stared at the scene with a look of utter astonishment. And Sophine, pretending not to notice, picked up her daughter and disappeared into the building. In her heart,
"This is my small revenge on you, who abandoned me six years ago," she murmured.
