I changed jobs from a sage to a phantom thief

Description

Summoned to another world, Kagehiko Kurono, the [Sage], successfully defeated the Demon Lord as a member of the Hero's party.

Upon defeating the Demon Lord, they were promised a return to Japan. However, what awaited the returning Hero's party was an unreasonable demand from the King.

"I have no more obligation to work for such a country. I will do as I please."

Facing the King who sought to break his promise, Kagehiko declared unequivocally:

"I'm quitting being a Sage and becoming a Phantom Thief!"

The man who mastered magic as a Sage is reborn as an elusive and audacious phantom thief, making full use of his magical prowess!
