At the age of four, Tsubaki, who was born with memories of her previous life as an office lady in her late twenties/early thirties, remembers that this world is an otome game, thanks to words from her half-sister, who also appears to possess memories of a past life.

In the game, her half-sister, born to a mistress, was the heroine, and Tsubaki herself was the villainess who relentlessly tormented the heroine.

What's more, her story always ended in suicide.

However, this world seems to differ significantly from the game's original settings.

Thinking that she might be able to save her mother from her destined suicide, Tsubaki strives to protect her mother and her cousin, a main capture target, from her half-sister's evil clutches.
