Returning home from a convenience store late one night, he was suddenly engulfed by a powerful light, only to find himself in another world.

Yoji Tanaka (27, Sales Associate), who had been mediocre at everything he tried his whole life, was inexplicably transported to another world. He arrived in a place resembling a medieval frontier village. Though he understands neither the language nor the daily customs, this is a story of how the timid protagonist, utilizing a subtle cheat called 'Skill Bonus,' manages to survive in a world overrun by monsters using his modern common sense and a bit of cunning.
