The Human, Light, is exiled in a dungeon by the leader of his trusted companions, "The Gathering of Races."

In this world, there exist six races: Human, Beastfolk, Dragonfolk, Elves, Dwarves, and Demonfolk.

Among them, Humans found it difficult to raise their levels and were generally looked down upon and discriminated against by other races.

"The Gathering of Races" was a party formed by various races to overcome such discrimination—but in reality, it had a hidden agenda.

Their true purpose was to follow the orders of the nations (excluding the Human nations) to search for a being called "The Master," and if possible, to integrate them into their respective countries.

Light possessed a Gift called "Infinite Gacha," which was similar to what "The Master" was rumored to have, thus drawing their attention.

As a result of their investigation, Light was deemed not to be "The Master."

However, fearing what the future might hold, they decided to kill him just in case.

Light was almost killed by "The Gathering of Races," but he accidentally stepped on a "Teleportation Array" that randomly warped him deeper into the dungeon.

As a result, he was teleported to the deepest level, escaping death, but was then attacked by a Level 1000 monster resembling something from myths in the deep underground.

In desperation, Light furiously used "Infinite Gacha."

Fortunately, he drew an SUR card: "Mei, the Level 9999 Explorer Maid."

She helped Light repel the monster, saving his life.

Having completely escaped the crisis, Light resolved to seek revenge on his former companions, "The Gathering of Races," and to fight against the various nations to uncover the truth behind their attempt to kill him.

Mei advised him to use "Infinite Gacha" to gather companions like herself—truly trustworthy ally cards—to get revenge on his former members and uncover the truth.

Light agreed and chose to accumulate power deep within the dungeon to exact his revenge and confront the various nations.

—Approximately three years later.

After accumulating enough power to fight and destroy all forces and nations on the surface, and having built the strongest nation deep within the dungeon, Light once again launches a counter-invasion from the underground to the surface—to exact revenge on his former companions and to learn the truth about why they tried to kill him like vermin.
