The mid-boss room of a dungeon he'd seen countless times in the RPG he'd played to death.

Memories of his past life awaken within the fiend, who exists solely to await the hero and be vanquished—

that he was nothing more than an ordinary university student.

He refuses to be merely hunted down as a mid-boss like this.

With that resolve, he defeated the boss and dared to escape the dungeon. What he obtained in the process was a mysterious doping item known as an "Orb Shard." Commanded by a goddess to collect the fifteen Orb Shards scattered across this world, the fiend figured that while he was at it, he might as well embark on a journey through this beloved RPG world.
