Frontier Alchemist ~It's too late to go back to a zero-budget workplace now~《Comic released!》

Description

Rust works at the Alchemist Guild, specializing in fundamental alchemy research. However, the Guild Master, a former bureaucrat, fails to grasp the importance of basic research, constantly slashing the research budget. Rust finds himself relegated to the daily chore of preparing basic materials for alchemists in other departments to use in their transmutations.

Then one day, the Guild Master finally announces that the budget for the next fiscal year will be zero, and the fundamental research department will be disbanded. Coincidentally, on the very same day, Rust receives an invitation from a female friend from his student days to help with territorial development in a remote region. Concluding there is no future for him at the Guild, he decides to resign.

Unbeknownst to them, Rust is in fact one of the world's most accomplished alchemists. The basic materials he transmuted are of the highest possible rank, unobtainable anywhere else. These high-quality materials have become indispensable for virtually everything produced by the Alchemist Guild. Naturally, after Rust's resignation, the Guild is immediately thrown into utter chaos.

Embracing a sense of liberation from the Guild, Rust goes on to thrive vibrantly in the remote region.
