Sagaraku Kurohiko had failed his job hunt and become a shut-in after graduating university, doing nothing at all.

One typhoon day, seeking a place to die, Kurohiko was enveloped in a dazzling light on a mountainside and lost consciousness.

When he awoke, he found himself in an unknown land.
