Utamaro Kitagawa, an unassuming high school student, decides to become an adventurer himself after witnessing a friend, who was supposed to be just as unremarkable, suddenly shoot to the top of the class hierarchy the moment he became an adventurer.
To obtain a rare card he could boast about to everyone, Utamaro stakes his life on an insane gacha that costs one million yen per pull—but what will be the outcome?
