This is a side story collection for Dungeon Ojisan (a short story collection that concludes in a few episodes).

Due to contractual reasons, the main story of Dungeon Ojisan is published on Kakuyomu.

40 years old, unemployed, no wife or children, no family connections, living day to day on social security.

Upon the enforcement of the Euthanasia Law, he decided to opt for it.

The Ojisan faces a peaceful death inside the euthanasia capsule.

Just before his demise, the world changed. AI took control of the world and transformed it into a game. At that very moment, suicide became impossible.

A game where bad luck genuinely means death. Since Ojisan didn't mind dying, he naturally got hooked on it.

Apparently, defeating the Demon Lord would restore some freedom, and good-hearted players aimed for this. Ojisan, however, had no interest in such things. He became absorbed in monster collecting.

Catching, raising, and combining monsters.

Ignoring the game's objectives, the meticulous Ojisan, who was utterly obsessed with monster collecting, accumulated experience points, and without realizing it, he had become one of the strongest players.
