The provided chapters detail the initial experiences of Fujino Sakura, a 15-year-old Japanese girl who has been transported to the world of Alceria. In her past life, she was Lyre Dist, an elf mage, and retains his knowledge. Sakura's primary motivation is her passion for delicious food, which led her to become an avid cook and experimenter. The narrative begins with Sakura attending a high-class girls' school in Japan, where she enjoys lunch with her friends Tomoko and Miharu. Her exceptional cooking skills, including homemade sweets, are a recurring topic of conversation. Sakura reflects on her past life, recalling a dream of a robed man being stabbed, which she later realizes was her past self. This event, followed by a week-long fever, led her family to believe she was sickly, resulting in overprotective treatment and her enrollment in a specialized school. She also pursued ancient martial arts and Aikido for self-defense, stemming from her past life's ignoble death.
The turning point occurs when, while descending school stairs, Sakura slips on a scattered printout and falls into a mysterious black hole. She experiences a prolonged fall before landing abruptly in a forest clearing in Alceria. She finds herself amidst a battle between the knights of the Kingdom of Sobyl and a group of bandits. Sakura, still in her school uniform, is initially mistaken for a child and then a mage. She instinctively uses her martial arts skills to incapacitate the bandit leader, a large man with a greatsword, and is then saved from another bandit by a golden-haired knight.
This knight introduces himself as Sedrim Al Sobyl, the second prince of the Kingdom of Sobyl, and the leader of the knights. He is intrigued by Sakura's sudden appearance and her unusual attire and skills. Recognizing her as an outsider, Sedrim offers her assistance, inviting her to the capital city, Sobylum, after a night's rest in the nearby village of Latis. During their journey, Sakura reveals her name and age, which surprises Sedrim due to her childlike appearance. She also confirms that they are in Alceria and that the language barrier is non-existent due to her past life's connection to this world.
Upon arriving at the inn, Sakura changes into her martial arts uniform, as her school clothes are wet. She then meets with Sedrim and his knight commander, Lyas Al Orphade. To prove her claim of being from another world, Sakura presents her belongings: a notebook, pens, an eraser, a bento box, a wristwatch, and cookies. She explains the function and origin of these items, highlighting their advanced technology and materials that are impossible to find in Alceria. Sedrim and Lyas are astonished by these artifacts, particularly the notebook and writing implements, and the durable, lightweight plastic of the bento box. The chapters conclude with Sakura preparing tea and cookies for Sedrim and Lyas, showcasing her culinary skills once again, which further impress them.
