Chapters 3 to 12 introduce 'Jorougumo,' the world's strongest SS-rank adventurer team of six women, known for their freedom and immense power. The story follows them on a "change of pace" vacation, which repeatedly devolves into chaotic displays of their strength.
Initially, while investigating a rumor in a dense forest near a frontier village, they encounter a sadistic AAA-rank Mictlan Demon. Lilin Cadryll, the golden-haired leader, casually vaporizes it. The team, unfazed by the powerful demon, presents its head to the terrified village chief. Lilin, ever composed, ensures team member Crona C. J. Wales, a magic item engineer, doesn't laugh at the chief's stress-induced hair loss, while agreeing for Jorougumo to extend their stay as protectors.
Later, during a beach vacation, four members (Lilin, Crona, Theresa, Aileen) are relaxing, joined by Teagan (cat-eared) and Eleanor (horned beast-humans) from the sea. When persistent male adventurers try to flirt, Crona, annoyed by the heat, unleashes a terrifying killing intent. Teagan and Eleanor, having just punched a giant fish into the air, are irritated by Crona's outburst. Crona then fires a shockwave, which Theresa calmly deflects with a laser, Aileen clears with wind, and Lilin skillfully catches the fish. The men flee, highlighting the team's casual power and internal dynamics.
Jorougumo then investigates the 'Evil Spirit' in the 'Forest of Radiance,' a corrupted, regenerative forest entity. After engaging the spirit, it makes a fatal mistake by insulting the women, calling them "old hags." This triggers Theresa, whose usual role as a "stopper" for the team's destructive tendencies shatters. The other five members immediately retreat. Theresa unleashes a devastating laser that obliterates the spirit and carves a straight path through the entire forest, revealing the true origin of the legendary 'Path of Light.'
Finally, the narrative introduces the arrogant High Elves, who uphold strict blood purity laws. Lilin's husband, a runaway High Elf, and their two half-succubus, half-High Elf children have been kidnapped by the High Elves. Lilin, furious, leads Jorougumo to the High Elf village, easily bypassing their defenses. The High Elves, blinded by pride, further provoke the team by condemning Aileen (a human with 'High Elf atavism') for "stealing" their power and again calling all Jorougumo members "old hags." This final insult completely shatters Theresa's remaining restraint, setting the stage for an imminent, devastating confrontation. The chapter arc establishes Jorougumo's overwhelming power and the personal stakes that drive their actions, often leading to extreme and destructive outcomes when their members are provoked.
