Description
Anjelica, the eldest daughter, had her fiancé taken by her stepsister. Since her stepsister, Veronica, became pregnant with a child by Anjelica's fiancé, Gailes, Anjelica is ordered to annul her engagement and marry the Cruel Count—Veronica's fiancé—instead.
Yet, Anjelica was the one who had always protected their home and territory, working in place of her unreliable father. What would become of their home and territory if she were gone? Even so, her stepmother Cathy insists that everything will be fine because her father and fiancé, Gailes, are still there.
Nothing she says will be listened to anymore. Apparently, the Cruel Count only needs a fiancée in name only.
"Very well. As the Cruel Count's fiancée, I will go to him. Wait? The Count is coming to pick me up tomorrow?"
What does that mean?
But it's fine. If I'm just a fiancée in name only, then from now on, I'll live doing only what I like.
...Or so I thought?
