《Manga adaptation volume 1 releases on 4/17!》 Misato Kanji is just an ordinary high school student who loves games and giant robots.

The new VRMMO, 『HAO』, was a game whose selling point was its unparalleled freedom in combat and playstyles, allowing players to shoot guns in a sci-fi world, enhance their bodies to wield blades, use psychic powers, or even make a fortune by crafting items without engaging in any combat whatsoever.

Upon hearing that it was also possible to create, pilot, and fight with giant robots, the protagonist enthusiastically began playing. However, what stood in his way was the truly awful nature of 『HAO』 as a game.

The fact was, after spending all his initial skill points, all he received was a broken, immobile machine and two thick, unreadable English technical manuals. Furious at this, the protagonist uploaded all the book data to a message board, an action that triggered a series of misunderstandings from those around him...!?
