The story begins with Akito and Seiya waking up on a cloud in a stormy sky, with no memory of how they arrived. A disembodied female voice identifies them as Akito and Seiya and introduces herself as Iriya, the goddess of this world. She explains that they have been summoned to the world of Raskas, which was devastated by an evil god. A previous hero defeated the evil god but failed to protect the world, leaving it in ruins. Iriya bestows upon them the magic of creation, allowing them to craft anything from various materials using magic power. The reward for their efforts is complete ownership of whatever they create, including the ability to build towns and nations.
Seiya, driven by the prospect of becoming a king, readily accepts. Akito, initially hesitant, learns that refusing would result in their immediate death upon returning to their original world, as they were both hit by trucks before being summoned. With no other choice, they both agree. Iriya then grants them their first tools: a DORECA card for using magic and two "Eternal Slaves," beautiful elf-like women dressed as slaves. Seiya immediately chooses one and cruelly orders her to lick his shoes, which results in him gaining 100 magic power. Akito, however, chooses the other slave, named Lisha, and asks her to smile. When she complies, he gains 10,000 magic power, a significantly larger amount.
Akito and Lisha are then transported to the desolate wasteland. They find a small, primitive house inhabited by a sick man named Madway. Lisha suggests Akito use his creation magic to make medicine. Akito discovers his DORECA card displays his status and a list of craftable items. He creates a "Universal Medicine" for 300 magic power, using local herbs called Abnoi Grass. After healing Madway, Akito, inspired by Lisha's advice and Madway's gratitude, decides to build a wooden house for themselves, consuming 2500 magic power. He and Lisha gather materials, and they successfully construct two houses, one for Madway and one for themselves.
The next morning, Lisha wakes up with a cold. Akito quickly crafts another Universal Medicine to heal her, gaining 3000 magic power. He then decides to focus on gathering more materials to expand their crafting options. Madway joins them, and they collect various items. Akito crafts an iron sword, realizing the need for weapons in this dangerous world. He also creates feather futons, and Lisha's joy at receiving one earns him another magic power charge. Akito then fights his first monster, a large, aggressive rabbit, which he defeats and obtains materials from. He crafts a "Fur Dress" from the monster's hide and gives it to Lisha, earning him 1000 magic power.
Later, Akito, Lisha, and Madway gather for dinner. Akito checks his DORECA card, noting his increased magic power and the items he has created. He discovers a "Small Spring" that requires 20,000 magic power to create, but he decides to make it. After gathering the necessary materials, including water from Madway's house, he successfully creates the spring, which continuously produces drinkable water. He then crafts a "Fruit Tree," which produces fruit when given magic power and materials, securing food for them.
Akito receives another magic power charge of 5000, realizing it's related to Lisha finding a discarded iron sword and being happy about having matching weapons. They then encounter four monsters that transform into humans upon defeat. Akito learns that these humans were killed by monsters and revived in this world. He decides to increase the town's population by defeating monsters and turning them back into humans. He uses his magic to build three more wooden houses for the newcomers, and Lisha's excitement at sharing a house with Akito results in a massive 30,000 magic power charge.
Akito faces a new, powerful monster called an Eluker, a giant, hairy caterpillar. His iron sword proves ineffective, but he discovers its weakness is its slow turning speed. After a long battle, he defeats it, obtaining "White Hair" as a material. He crafts simple clothes for the four newly returned humans. He then discovers a powerful weapon called "Eternal Slave" that requires no magic power but uses a slave's hair as a material. Lisha willingly cuts her hair, and Akito crafts the sword, which feels incredibly powerful. Lisha's joy at her hair becoming part of his weapon grants him 20,000 magic power.
Akito uses the Eternal Slave to easily defeat more Elukers, collecting large amounts of White Hair. Upon returning to the settlement, he finds the houses damaged by a monster attack. He uses his magic to repair them and then creates "Iriya's Spring," a protective barrier that repels monsters, costing 15,000 magic power. He obtains a "Holy Droplet" as the material. He learns that the Eternal Slave consumes magic power with each use. He then encounters a giant scorpion-like monster that easily defeats other monsters. Akito fights the scorpion, using his Eternal Slave and Universal Medicine to heal himself. After a grueling battle, he defeats the scorpion, and the four monsters it had killed transform back into humans. Akito's level increases, and his DORECA card evolves into a "Frontz Card," significantly expanding his crafting abilities. He is then asked to become the town mayor, which he accepts, leading to another large magic power charge from Lisha's happiness.
