In the new VRMMORPG 'Cross Chronicle Online,' Makoto Ichinose mistakenly created a character who, despite being a healer, allocated all his status points to VIT, a stat that increases defense.

Because of this, Makoto was labeled useless for healing despite being a healer, branded a 'landmine' by those around him, and then flung into another world where character deletion and job changes are impossible.

However, Makoto utilizes his innate MMO knowledge and experience to establish a unique playstyle, and wielding a certain power that awakened three years prior as a weapon, he begins to decimate both players and raid bosses.

This is the story of Shin, a hardcore 'Cross Chronicle Online' player who reincarnated into the alternate world known as `《Aether》`. While attending an academy in `《Terra》` that researches supernatural abilities, he undertakes adventures, conquers underground labyrinths, and enjoys lighthearted moments with beautiful girls, all to cover tuition, earn credits, and for various other reasons.
