*British Fantasy Steam Tale II* is scheduled for release around autumn.
Late 19th century. The heyday of steam-powered civilization.
Highly developed steam engines swept the world, and the skies were choked with exhaust fumes. Worker species created through genetic engineering. Steel monsters that appear in the city at night. Blood-stained beasts drawn by the clang of iron. Urban legends of people vanishing on foggy nights only to reappear as someone else – such was the scene in the chaotic, colorful London of the British Empire.
Troublesome matters always seem to find their way to Tsukagami Tobari, a Far Easterner who runs a contracting business, and the alchemist Vincent Saint-Germain.
One day, a peculiar request arrives from a woman from the Academia: "My friend got involved in dangerous research and disappeared, please find him."
Led by Vincent, who gleefully accepted the request, Tobari and his companions visit a place where clues to the incident might be found. What appears before them is a monster adorned with steel and steam—
This is a fantasy woven with characters blending fact and fiction, spun from steel and steam.
Should this tale not please your eyes, consider it but a dream, and forgive us.
