Living in another world had always been my dream, but once I actually arrived, it was nothing like the easy life I had imagined.

Usually, when you find yourself in another world, aren't you supposed to wake up in a forest or a field?

Instead, I suddenly dropped onto a table right in the middle of a meeting!

From the attire of the people who apprehended me, I gathered this was indeed another world, but it seemed I had interrupted a meeting of the surviving knights of a fallen kingdom, who were in the midst of deciding their next course of action.

Since they were apparently discussing how to reclaim their kingdom, I figured they must be a serious bunch.

While they were discussing their future plans with the princess who had recently joined them, I offered a small piece of advice, and before I knew it, I was elevated to the role of their chief consultant.

My suggestion was to start a bandit operation, but can these people, who were once knights of the kingdom, truly become bandits?

Our ultimate goal is the restoration of the kingdom, but the path ahead looks incredibly steep.

Nonetheless, considering I was a NEET in my old world, I suppose this counts as landing a job in this one. Plus, it looks like my basic needs – food, clothing, and shelter – will be covered.

It looks like a long road ahead, but the knights' morale seems high, so perhaps things will work out surprisingly well.
