On her way back from training in a neighboring country, the beautiful magician Francisca Dumelle is attacked by a grotesque monster and finds herself in a desperate crisis. Summoning a fire spirit, it was the enigmatic magician Luu Brandell, with his black hair and black eyes, who saved her. Francisca persuades Luu, who had aspired to be an adventurer, to take up a post as a temporary teacher at the Girls' Academy of Magic, where she serves as acting principal.
