In a world where four races exist—beastmen, humans, celestials, and demons—

Elemiya, a human, is sent to marry Calvan, the king of the Kingdom of Caldias, a nation ruled by the Dragon Race, said to be the strongest among beastmen.

However, Calvan already had a fated mate. But his mate, Ymir, cannot be made the official queen because she is a commoner. Following the beastmen's nature, which compels them to love their mate, Calvan loves Ymir and neglects Elemiya, who, despite not being his mate, occupies the position of official queen. Even the beastman servants consider this to be only natural.

Believing there was no other choice, Elemiya decided to revolt.
