Description
This series will be published irregularly for a while. I plan to continue the activities themselves.
Western Restaurant Nekoya.
Located on the first basement floor of a multi-tenant building, nestled in a corner of a humble shopping street not far from the business district.
Open for lunch from 11 AM to 3 PM, and for dinner from 6 PM to 9 PM.
Closed on Saturdays and Sundays, when the business district is deserted.
Lunch is priced up to 1,000 yen. A humble point of pride, if you will, is the free refills on rice, bread, and soup.
A small shop left to me, who's more of a dog person, by my cat-loving grandfather. Its features, such as they are, include a cat-themed sign and a beckoning cat bell mounted at the entrance.
Just an ordinary eatery, like any other.
...Ah, but there is one thing. One thing that sets it apart from the rest.
Every Saturday, it becomes an operating day for a special set of customers who arrive once a week.
Wasn't Saturday its regular closing day? That's right. Which is precisely why it's a special day.
Only on Saturdays does this place welcome special guests, so it's officially closed to the public.
It's something my grandfather started, and even I don't know the full details.
But 'those folks from the other side' call this place the 'Restaurant to Another World.'
The book version was released by Hero Bunko on February 28th.
Under the name Junpei Inuzuka.
It includes up to chapter 20, with some additions and revisions, as well as a special chapter titled "Braised Pork Belly."
