Ordinary teacher Seiji Aizawa is transported to another world along with his entire class.

In this new world, a Demon King is running rampant, and the power of 'young, brave warriors' is deemed necessary for his subjugation. However, Seiji is 28 years old. Not considered a young, brave warrior, he quickly becomes a burden to his class.

Meanwhile, each student is granted a 'cheat' ability, but Seiji's is 'Repair,' a power to fix broken things. What's more, for some reason, Seiji's power doesn't activate.

During this time, while heading to an ancient ruin for monster subjugation training with his students, Seiji takes a reckless action to protect them from a suddenly appearing Minotaur, and ends up being left behind alone.

Facing the Minotaur, Seiji prepares for death, but then his cheat ability activates. He repairs 'Brünnhilde, the broken mechanical girl' who appeared from the ancient ruins.

Brünnhilde repels the Minotaur with overwhelming power and affectionately calls Seiji her master. Upon escaping the ruins, they find themselves in an unknown land.

To return to his students, Seiji embarks on an adventure through this other world with Brünnhilde.

This is the story of an unremarkable teacher and a mechanical girl who travel, repairing broken things as they go.
