The story begins with the protagonist, Kurotsuki Takuma, a self-proclaimed "loner" who prefers minimal interaction with classmates. His peaceful high school routine is shattered by the arrival of a stunningly beautiful transfer student named Izayoi Alice. Alice, a blonde, green-eyed half-British girl, immediately causes a stir. During her self-introduction, she shocks the entire class, especially Takuma, by declaring that she is Takuma's future wife and her surname will eventually change to Kurotsuki. Takuma is bewildered, as he has never met her before.
Alice's relentless pursuit of Takuma begins immediately. During the first break, she corners him by a vending machine, surprising him with a forceful deep kiss, claiming it's "her taste" he should remember. She then insists on joining him for lunch, having prepared a "love bento" for him. She attempts an indirect kiss using chopsticks, and when Takuma resists, she kisses him again. After school, Alice demands Takuma call her by her first name, "Alice," and insists on walking home with him, arm-in-arm. To Takuma's utter shock, Alice reveals she lives in the same apartment building, and then, to his horror, in the apartment directly next door to his. Later, Alice subtly installs a remote monitoring app on Takuma's phone, making it feel "heavy," though Takuma attributes it to old age.
Alice's presence further infiltrates Takuma's life when she starts visiting his room every morning to walk to school together, facilitated by Takuma's friendly mother, who is charmed by Alice. Alice quickly becomes popular at school but refuses to join any groups, stating she wants to maximize her time with Takuma. She also displays a terrifying possessiveness, warning Takuma with an intense aura that she "will never forgive" him if he looks at other girls.
The escalation continues during a shopping trip for Alice's new apartment. Alice manipulates Takuma into ordering a "couple-only" parfait at a cafe, forcing them to take a photo that will be displayed in the store. Later, at a game center, Alice insists on taking "purikura" (photo booth pictures) and, to Takuma's mortification, kisses him during the photo shoot, capturing their "kiss-purikura." She then proudly pastes these photos onto her belongings, ignoring Takuma's embarrassment.
The turning point occurs on their way home. Alice is accosted by two drunk, aggressive delinquents. Takuma intervenes, but one of the delinquents pulls a knife and cuts his arm. Witnessing Takuma's injury, Alice undergoes a terrifying transformation. Her demeanor turns cold and murderous, emanating an overwhelming, horrifying aura. She brutally incapacitates both delinquents by crushing their testicles, leaving them unconscious and foaming at the mouth. Takuma is left in shock, realizing Alice is far more dangerous and terrifying than he ever imagined. He resolves never to anger her, his once peaceful loner life now completely dominated by his possessive, formidable "future wife."
