Kanata loves animals, yet for some reason, they are terrified of her.

Desperate to pet something fluffy, young Kanata comes up with a brilliant idea.

If real animals are out of the question, she'll become a monster tamer and befriend monsters instead.

That way, she can pet all the fluffy creatures she desires.

With this goal in mind, Kanata dedicated herself to becoming a monster tamer.

In fact, she overdid it.

By the time she turned 15, Kanata had become (in her own estimation) the strongest monster tamer.

As long as they're fluffy, a monster's strength is irrelevant.

Kanata then embarked on a friendly journey with her numerous fluffy companions.
