Odel, a mercenary known as "The War Demon," had fought for his employer, the kingdom, for many years. However, when the wars ended and peace was restored, he was assassinated by the royal family as an obstacle.

Odel, who secretly survived, takes in a girl in his hometown village who claims to be his daughter. His life, once defined by incessant warfare, took a drastic turn. Though bewildered, he began a new life with his daughter.
