The story begins with Crow Asamiya, formerly known as the Hero of the Saint Philia Kingdom, now a disgraced exile wandering the forests on the kingdom's eastern border. Five years prior, Crow led his party to defeat the Demon Lord, earning him immense rewards and status. However, a severe, chronic back injury sustained during the final battle has rendered him incapable of fighting and severely impacted his daily life. This injury, coupled with political machinations by ambitious nobles and a betrayal by his former comrade Douglas Brahman, led to Crow's banishment from the kingdom. Accused of scandalous behavior and harboring ambitions of usurpation, Crow finds himself alone and in pain.
While slumped in despair on a forest path, Crow is approached by a young elf girl with striking silver hair and sharp ears. She introduces herself as a skilled masseuse and, seeing Crow's distress, offers to examine his back. Despite his initial hesitation and exhaustion with life, Crow agrees. The elf, whose name is later revealed to be Alicebell, expertly manipulates his back, causing him intense pain but ultimately relieving his chronic ailment. Crow is astonished, as even the kingdom's top healers couldn't cure him. Overwhelmed with gratitude, he impulsively proposes to Alicebell. She, though taken aback by his directness and confessing his complete lack of romantic experience, agrees to consider it after getting to know him better. Alicebell then invites Crow to stay at her home in the nearby elf village, as he has nowhere else to go.
As they travel to the village, Alicebell expresses interest in Crow's tales of the capital. Suddenly, Crow's "Hero Sensor" skill detects screams and hostile presences. He realizes the elf village is under attack by a large group of monsters, specifically A-rank King Wolves. Using his "Hero Scout" skill, he confirms the threat and, with Alicebell secured in a bridal carry, races to the village at incredible speed using his "Divine Speed" skill.
Upon arriving, Crow witnesses the chaos and the overwhelming number of King Wolves attacking the villagers. He draws his "Evil-Banishing Holy Sword," feeling its familiar power and his restored back allowing him to fight at full strength. He quickly dispatches the first King Wolf, impressing Alicebell with his speed and power. Determined to impress her, Crow systematically eradicates the attacking monsters, showcasing his overwhelming combat prowess. He defeats over fifty King Wolves and then faces the leader, an S-rank boss King Wolf. Using his ultimate technique, "Justice Ragnarok Break," Crow obliterates the boss, solidifying his reputation as the strongest.
The village celebrates Crow as their savior, and he is showered with gratitude and rewards. He uses the occasion to subtly express his affection for Alicebell. That night, Crow stays at Alicebell's home. Despite his earlier declaration of wanting love before intimacy, the situation leads to them sleeping in the same room and eventually engaging in passionate intimacy throughout the night. The next morning, they acknowledge their shared experience, with Crow admitting his desire for her and Alicebell expressing her surprise and affection. Their intimate morning is interrupted by a visitor seeking Crow for a new task, hinting at further adventures and the continuation of their developing relationship.
