And other items discovered within—like potions—possessed powers capable of transforming social structures... the global fervor for dungeon exploration only intensified with each passing day.
In a quiet corner of Kyoto, a bustling tourist metropolis, lived Takayoshi Onda, a 34-year-old middle-aged "corporate slave," who found himself jobless when his company went bankrupt. Perplexed, Onda headed to Hello Work (public employment service) in search of employment, but there he discovered a poster recruiting explorers.
"Becoming an explorer... that doesn't sound too bad."
With that thought, Onda promptly acquired his Explorer's License and set off for the Kameoka Dungeon.
