Only the fourth son, Noah, was known as a 'fool' with no discernible talents, constantly engaging in eccentric behavior.

While his three capable brothers each received powerful gifts befitting their reputations, Noah was unfortunately bestowed with a 'dud' gift, [Appraiser], during his own gift assessment.

With these words, the Grand Duke, utterly disappointed in Noah, banished him to a remote territory.

However, the people were unaware.

That Noah was no fool, but a man destined for kingship.

Though Noah lacked personal combat prowess, he possessed the ability, through his Appraisal skill, to identify and harness the talents of others.

Noah began unearthing hidden talents—starting with the female knight Ophelia—finding those buried within the Grand Duchy and those slumbering in remote territories, thereby embarking on the path to national prosperity and military might.

Leading these capable military commanders, he would eventually forge a superpower that would sweep across the continent.
