The twin sisters of the Marquis Lapoirie family visited the church in the Royal Capital with their parents.

This was for the Oracle Ceremony, which all those who have turned twelve must undergo.

Upon undergoing the ceremony, commoners may be granted special abilities known as skills, while nobles may receive divine blessings.

Fleur, the younger sister renowned for her beauty, was granted the blessing of a goddess.

Delighted, the parents took only Fleur home with them.

The elder sister, Felicie, who was left behind, was bewildered but had already given up on her parents' love.
